Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan emphasized the strong and profound fraternal relations binding the UAE and Jordan. Sheikh Mohammed received Jordan's King Abdullah II, and the two leaders tackled all aspects of bilateral relations and ways to boost them in the coming period. They exchanged views on the latest regional and global developments, especially the situation in the Middle East, and two sides confirmed their desire to continue coordination and consultations to benefit their peoples and the Arab region. They stressed the importance of enhancing development partnerships for the advantage of everyone in the region, achieving prosperity and sustainable development, and providing solutions to the problems and challenges to safeguard the future of its peoples. Later, the Crown Prince received a phone call from Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi. They discussed bilateral ties between the two countries and ways to enhance them in their best interests. They exchanged views regarding several regional and international issues of mutual concern and the latest developments in the Middle East. They also emphasized the importance of supporting peace and stability efforts in the region.
