Interpol Elects UAE’s Nasser Al-Raisi as President

Global police agency Interpol elected Emirati Inspector General Maj. Gen. Ahmed Nasser Al-Raisi as its president on Thursday. Raisi's election was reported on Interpol's Twitter feed and the United Arab Emirates state news agency. "Mr Ahmed Nasser AL RAISI of the United Arab Emirates has been elected to the post of President (4-yr term)," Interpol said on Twitter.
