Saudi Crown Prince Discusses Middle East Green Initiative with Arab Leaders

Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, held a series of telephone talks with numerous Arab leaders to discuss the Kingdom’s Middle East Green Initiative. He held talks with Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Nawaf al-Ahmad al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Bahrain’s King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, head of the Sudanese Transitional Council Abdel Fattah al-Burhan and Iraq’s Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kadhimi. The officials discussed the importance of the Saudi initiative in confronting economic and social challenges posed by the climate in the region and world. The leaders congratulated Crown Prince Mohammed on the initiative, stressing that they will work with the Kingdom to ensure its success.
