Saudi Arabia Strongly Denounces Attack on Aden Airport

Saudi Arabia expressed solidarity with the Yemeni people after the Aden airport attack. Asharq Al-Awsat

Saudi Arabia on Wednesday strongly condemned the “treacherous” attack on Aden’s airport in Yemen, saying that it targeted not only the new government, but also the Yemeni people. In a statement carried by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the Foreign Ministry said the Kingdom stood by the Yemeni people and its aspirations for peace, stability and security. The attack on the airport came moments after a plane landed carrying the newly formed Yemeni cabinet. The Saudi Foreign Ministry statement said that the Yemenis “will remain steadfast in reaching their goals and regaining legitimacy.”
