Saudi Arabia Reports 1,227 New Virus Cases

Saudi Arabia announced on Sunday 1,227 new coronavirus cases, increasing the Kingdom’s tally to 298,542. Of the new cases, 62 were recorded in Riyadh, 57 in Jazan, 57 in Jeddah, 56 in Makkah and 36 in Madinah. The Saudi Health Ministry said 39 more patients died from the COVID-19 disease, bringing the country’s death toll to 3,408. The total number of recoveries in the Kingdom increased to 266,953 after 2,466 more patients recovered from the virus.
