Coronavirus Infections Rise in Sudan, up to 64 Deaths

The Sudanese Ministry of Health announced registering 53 new COVID-19 cases. This brings the total number of infections in the country to 1,164 According to a ministry statement published on its Facebook page on Saturday, up to five new deaths were recorded in Khartoum and Al-Jazeera states, bringing the total deaths since the beginning of the pandemic in Sudan to 64. It is worth noting that 976 of the total injuries are recorded in Khartoum alone. Meanwhile, 17 new cases recovered, bringing the total number of recoveriers to 119.
