Clinton Wins again, Trump Resists Falling

Washington- Presidential candidates Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump exchanged accusations in the debate held in Washington University on Sunday evening.

The leaked video of Trump point of view towards women represented a great part of the mutual attack.

The debate lasted 90 minutes without the opponents shaking hands. After a couple of minutes, the debate turned into an intense discussion on women, stance towards illegal immigrants, foreign policy, taxes’ plans and U.S. President Barack Obama programs in the field of health care.

Analysts said that despite the relatively good performance of Trump in the second debate yet he failed to show progress in the post-debate polls and to defeat his competitor. Clinton actually won the debate for the second time.

Hillary Clinton won the second presidential debate, according to a CNN/ORC poll of people who watched.

The peak was when Trump threatened to put Clinton in jail, describing her as a “devil”, and claimed that she “has tremendous hate in her heart”.

Clinton in return showed huge resistance against Trump accusations to her and her husband Bill Clinton. She was asked if she would accept to be double-faced, to have a stance in the public and a different one in private. Clinton did not hide her acceptance.

Hillary Clinton focused on Trump’s abusive statements regarding Muslims and Mexican immigrants, saying that the U.S. was founded on immigrants and the freedom of religion. Trump, however, stressed that he took back his call to prevent the entrance of Muslims and replaced it with a call to impose a strict inspection.

The audience asked the candidates to name one positive quality in their opponent. Clinton said, “I respect his children.” Trump replied, “I will say this about Hillary: She doesn’t quit.”

The third and final debate will be held on 19 October.
