Saudi, Kuwaiti Crown Princes Discuss Regional Developments, Boosting Cooperation

Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, held talks in Riyadh on Tuesday with Kuwait’s Crown Prince Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah. Making his first official trip abroad, Sheikh Mishal discussed regional and international developments with his Saudi counterpart. They also tackled efforts to boost regional stability and security and opportunities to develop cooperation between their countries. At the onset of their talks, Sheikh Mishal handed Crown Prince Mohammed a written message from Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz. Crown Prince Mohammed had personally welcomed his guest upon his arrival at Riyadh’s King Khalid International Airport earlier on Tuesday. At the end of his trip, Sheikh Mishal sent a cable of gratitude and appreciation to King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed for the warm reception he was accorded, hailing the depth of the close bilateral relations between their countries.
