Supreme Hajj Committee Refers Recommendations to King Salman

The Supreme Hajj Committee has referred its recommendations for this year’s annual holy pilgrimage to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz. Head of the committee, Interior Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Nayef, chaired a committee meeting on Tuesday. The gatherers discussed issues related to organizing the Hajj amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Prince Abdulaziz underscored the keenness of King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, on providing all services that would facilitate the Hajj for pilgrims and visitors of the Prophet’s Mosque so that they could smoothly perform the holy rituals. The meeting was attended by Makkah Region Governor and head of the Central Hajj Committee Prince Khalid al-Faisal, Madinah Region Governor Prince Faisal bin Salman, committee members and concerned ministers.
