King Salman Issues Royal Decrees Appointing Officials to Top State Posts

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz issued on Sunday a number of Royal Decrees to appoint and promote several officials to top state positions. He appointed Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud as Special Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, at the rank of minister. He appointed Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud as Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the non-profit King Salman Foundation. King Salman appointed Eng. Abdullah bin Amer Al-Swaha as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Space Authority. He appointed Faisal bin Fadel bin Mohsen Al-Ibrahim as Minister of Economy and Planning. He appointed Dr. Khalid bin Abdullah Al-Sabti as Advisor at the Secretariat General of the Council of Ministers at the rank of Minister. He relieved Dr. Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Ahmed Al-Isa of his post as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Education and Training Evaluation Commission, replacing him with Dr. Khaled bin Abdullah Al-Sabti. King Salman appointed Eng. Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Ali Al-Sowayan as Governor of the Digital Government Authority, at the excellent rank. He appointed Dr. Iman bint Habbas bin Sultan Al-Mutairi as Deputy Minister of Commerce, at the excellent rank. He appointed Badr bin Abdelmohsen bin Abdullah bin Haddab Assistant to the Minister of Commerce, at the excellent rank.
