General Presidency of Two Holy Mosques Inaugurates Advanced Self-sterilization Gates

The General Presidency for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque has inaugurated on Thursday advanced self-sterilization gates in the entrances to the Grand Mosque. The new gates are equipped with the latest technologies, as part of the precautionary measures that have been carried out since the outbreak of the novel coronavirus pandemic (Covid-19). The advanced gates used for sterilizing people with sanitizer spray and equipped with thermal cameras to test temperatures from 6 meters and a smart screen for speed reading of temperatures of several people at the same time, the Saudi Press Agency reported. This comes within the preventive and precautionary measures that were taken by the presidency to confront COVID-19.
