Kuwait, Egypt to Resume Flights Starting on Sunday

Kuwait and Egypt will resume flights between their countries starting on Sunday, announced Chairman of the EgyptAir Holding Company Amr Abo el-Enein. Two flights per day will be operated between Cairo and Kuwait, he announced in a Facebook post. Kuwait’s Directorate General of Civil Aviation confirmed that direct commercial flights between the Arab countries will resume starting Sunday. Director of the Directorate Abdullah al-Rajhi said nine Kuwaiti and Egyptian air carries will operate in line with the cabinet’s recent decision to raise the capacity of Kuwait International Airport.
