UAE, Bahrain Discuss Relations, Regional Affairs

Manama – Asharq Al-AwsatBahrain’s King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa held talks in Manama on Tuesday with Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed al-Nahyan. Discussions focused on the close fraternal relations between the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain, as well as the close cooperation between them. They hoped that the cooperation would be bolstered in all fields to fulfill their expectations for progress and development and to achieve their common interests. They also tackled regional and international developments and Manama and Abu Dhabi’s efforts in confronting challenges. King Hamad underscored the strength of the fraternal relations with the UAE, saying they are based on a long history between their peoples. For his part, Sheikh Mohammed said the ties are continuing to grow stronger out of the keenness of their respective leaderships to develop them on all levels. Relations between the UAE and Bahrain are among the cornerstones of cooperation in the Gulf and Arab world, he added.
