Saudi, Omani FMs Hold Talks on Bilateral Ties

Asharq Al-AwsatSaudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah held talks in Muscat on Wednesday with his Omani counterpart Badr AlBusaidi. Discussions focused on bilateral relations and efforts to boost them in various fields. They added that deepening cooperation will benefit their countries, bolster common interests and pave the way for new diverse opportunities in business, investment and tourism. They also underscored the need to develop cooperation in the energy, technology, transportation, cyber security, health, agriculture and environment fields. On political affairs, the ministers discussed several regional and international developments, underlining the importance of joint Gulf work within the Gulf Cooperation Council. They highlighted the AlUla signed earlier this year to resolve the Gulf rift and pledged to support all efforts aimed at consolidating security, stability and peace in the region and world.
