Arab League Chief Supports Saudi Rejection of US Report

Arab League Secretary-General Ahmed Aboul Gheit stressed on Saturday that Saudi judicial authorities alone are concerned with holding to account those involved in the Khashoggi case. He expressed his support to the Saudi Foreign Ministry statement that rejected the deductions reached in a report by the CIA in the case. The intelligence agency is not a judge nor an international resolution, he said in a statement, adding that rights issues should not be politicized.
