Saudi, US Naval Forces Continue Joint Drill in Jubail

The mixed "Naval Defender 21"maritime exercise continued in Saudi Arabia on Monday. The drill is taking place with the participation of the Royal Saudi Naval Forces, US Navy and a British minesweeper. The exercise, carried out at the site of the Eastern Fleet in Jubail, covered a number of combat scenarios, such as the use of live ammunition against hostile targets, naval battleship formations, maritime rescue operations and the defense of seaports. The two-week drill kicked off on Thursday.
