Saudi Prepares to Hold ‘Spears of Victory’ Drills on Sunday

The Saudi Defense Ministry completed on Friday preparations to launch its “Spears of Victory” military drills on Sunday. The major exercise will take place in the Eastern Province between January 31 and February 11. The Royal Airforce, Navy and ground forces will take part in the exercise held at the King Abdulaziz Air Base. Saudi Arabia had kicked off on Wednesday the third joint rehearsal of military maneuvers between the Royal Air Force and the US Air Force. The Air Force participated in the exercise with its F-15SA fighters, while the US forces partook with the B-52 strategic bomber and F-16 fighter jets.
