Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, declared on Monday that the Kingdom’s policy – led by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz – is based on achieving the higher national interests of the members of the Gulf Cooperation Council and Arab nations. All efforts will be focused for the good of their people to establish their security and stability, he said on the eve of Saudi Arabia’s hosting of the 41st GCC summit. The summit will witness united ranks and it will bolster the pursuit of prosperity, he remarked. The summit will meet the aspirations of King Salman and his brothers in the GCC to unite and show solidarity in confronting regional challenges, he added. The one-day summit will be held in AlUla, the first time a non-capital Gulf city hosts the summit.
