Saudi Deputy Minister of Defense Prince Khalid bin Salman has met via videoconference with Chinese State Councilor and Minister of National Defense General Wei Fenghe. The meeting reviewed bilateral relations between the two countries, especially in the defense and military fields, means to develop them and issues of mutual interest, the Saudi Press Agency reported. “We reviewed the historic ties between our two countries and explored ways to strengthen our military and defense cooperation,” Prince Khalid said on his Twitter account. The meeting was attended by the Kingdom's Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces Lt. Gen. Fayyad bin Hamid Al-Ruwaili, Assistant Minister of Defense for Executive Affairs Dr. Khaled Biyari, and other officials from both countries, SPA said.
