Saudi Virus Cases Fall Below 100 for 1st Time in 9 Months

Saudi Arabia announced on Sunday 82 new coronavirus infections, the first time the daily number of cases falling below 100 since nine months. Of the new cases, 35 were recorded in Riyadh, 24 in Makkah, 7 in the Eastern Province, 5 in Madinah, 2 in Asir and 1 in Najran. The Saudi Health Ministry also announced seven deaths caused by the COVID-19 disease, bringing the total number of fatalities in the Kingdom to 6,246. The total number of recoveries increased to 354,443 after 180 more patients recovered from the disease.
