Jordan's King Expresses to Biden Keenness to Continue Strategic Partnership

Jordan’s King Abdullah expressed in a phone call on Monday with US President-elect Joe Biden “keenness to continue bolstering the strategic partnership between the two countries to expand cooperation, in service of mutual interests and regional security and stability,” the Jordanian royal court said on Twitter. The two officials discussed the “solid bonds of friendship” between Amman and Washington, stressing the need to coordinate efforts to confront common challenges, including the impact of the coronavirus pandemic.
