Saudi Arabia Registers 3,717 New Virus Cases

Saudi Arabia confirmed on Wednesday 3,717 new coronavirus cases, raising its total to 122,288. A daily briefing on the outbreak showed that 1,317 of the new infections were reported in Riyadh, 460 in Jeddah, 189 in al-Dammam, 140 in the holy city of Makkah and 127 in Madinah. The Health Ministry said 1,615 people have recovered from the disease, taking the count to 77,954. Thirty-six fatalities were reported. The Kingdom’s death toll now stands at 819.
