Before kicking off his new journey outside the royal family, Prince Harry was back in the UK for a new round of public appearances. On Tuesday, local media reports said Harry, 35, has arrived in Edinburgh to attend an event organized by the "Travalyst" initiative to launch a new program that focuses on the environmental impact of air travel and tourism. The prince had previously faced criticism for using private planes. However, during the launch of "Travalyst" last fall, he defended himself saying that 99 percent of the flights he takes are commercial, but sometimes he has to use private jets in order to ensure the "safety" of his family. This time, the Duke of Sussex was pictured arriving in Edinburgh train station from London, wearing jeans and a baseball cap and carrying a suit bag after crossing the Atlantic in a commercial flight, AFP reported. During his visit to the UK, Prince Harry will partake in some official engagements. On Friday, he will be in London to meet US rock singer Jon Bon Jovi, who is recording a special song for the prince's Invictus Game Foundation for military veterans. Harry and his wife, former actress Megan Markle, have been staying in a luxury house in Canada with their son Archie since the beginning of the year. The Duke of Sussex had recently addressed a keynote at an event in Miami which raised questions on how he is planning to earn money after his split from the royal family. Buckingham Palace confirmed to the German news agency (dpa) that Harry participated in an event hosted by the JP Morgan Bank in Miami. Media reports said that during the event which took place earlier this week and was attended by his wife Meghan Markle, Harry talked about his mother, Princess Diana, and how he handled her death. It is not known if Harry was paid for his participation in the event, although British newspapers speculated that he might get a sum.
