Yemeni Prime Minister Dr. Maeen Abdulmalik Saeed departed on Monday the Saudi capital, Riyadh, for his country’s interim capital, Aden. The move is part of the implementation of the recently signed Riyadh agreement. Yemen government spokesman Rajeh Badi told Asharq Al-Awsat that he is accompanied by the ministers of finance, higher education, telecommunications, Awqaf and electricity. The premier will head to the presidential palace in Aden in a bid to return life back to normal and revive state institutions. Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz sponsored the signing of the agreement between the legitimate government and Southern Transitional Council (STC) that took place in the Saudi capital last month.
