Head of the legitimate Yemeni government’s delegation to the team tasked with implementing the Hodeidah agreement survived early on Sunday a series of attacks by the Iran-backed Houthi militias. Mohammed Aydha revealed that the headquarters where he and his team were staying survived a Houthi onslaught of five drones and three ballistic missiles. He warned that such attacks threaten the already weak prospects of peace. United Nations Yemen envoy Martin Griffiths said Friday that there has been a de-escalation in Yemen’s war in the past two week. He did also said there was a strengthened ceasefire in the key port of Hodeidah but expressed concern over increasing movement restrictions by the Houthi militias on the UN Mission to Support the Hodeidah Agreement.
