Kuwait Strongly Condemns Desecration of Quran in Sweden

Kuwait strongly condemned on Monday the desecration of the holy Quran by extremists in Sweden, reported the state news agency (KUNA). A Foreign Ministry statement expressed Kuwait's "utter disgust" with the act, saying it was a provocation to Muslims around the globe. The act goes against the values of "peace and harmony", it added, calling on the international community to "assume responsibility and stop such heinous deeds and prevent abuses against religion."
