Saudi Arabia: Less Than 500 Virus Cases for 1st Time in 5 Months

The Saudi Health Ministry announced on Sunday 483 new cases of the novel coronavirus, the first time the number has been below the 500 mark since April. Of the new cases, 64 were recorded in Jeddah, 42 in Makkah, 30 in Riyadh, 23 in Madinah and 17 in Dammam, said the ministry. The total number of recoveries in the Kingdom increased to 310,439, it said. The death toll increased to 4,485 after 27 more patients died from the COVID-19 disease, the ministry added.
