Saudi Arabia Registers Highest Daily Virus Recovery Rate

Saudi Arabia reported on Monday its highest daily rate of recoveries from the novel coronavirus at 4,045. The latest figure takes to 105,175 the number of recoveries in the Kingdom, said a daily briefing on the outbreak. It added that 3,393 new cases were confirmed, raising the total to 161,005. It said that 438 infections were registered in Riyadh, 388 in Jeddah, 354 in al-Dammam, 269 in the holy city of Makkah and 169 in Madinah. The Health Ministry said 40 fatalities were reported, taking the toll to 1,307.
