Oman Registers 896 New COVID-19 Cases, 3 Deaths

Oman reported three new deaths caused by the new coronavirus in the last 24 hours, the Ministry of Health announced on Saturday. It also said it has registered 896 new infections, raising total COVID-10 cases to 28,566. Out of the newly reported cases, 505 were of non-Omanis and 391 Omanis, it added. While death toll caused by the virus stands now at 128, the number of recoveries reached 14,780 after 806 individuals recovered. The ministry called on all citizens to abide by self-isolation measures and to go out only for necessities.
